Yesterday, we competed at Midwest Cheerfest, held at Carl Sandburg HS in Orland Park, IL.  There were 4 other CoEd Varsity teams, and we placed 4th.  It was a shaky start to the season, but with extended practice time (until 6:30 starting December 6th!) and repetition, we should rebound.

We were able to stick our pyramid, send up all 5 baskets, and our opening sequence was done well.  We struggled with our one leg stunts, both in getting them in the air and in our flyers hitting body positions.  After the adjustments made today at practice, we should be able to remedy these things and get back in the running.

We individually need to work on knowing the words to the cheer, projecting our voices, and snap our feet together at the end of our jumps.

Our next competition is Friday, December 16th at Belvidere High School.....we perform at 6:54pm!
